My experience in the TRV LLC was a key factor in how I acclimated and adapted to being on campus. Although my hometown is only an hour away, I decided to move on campus to be fully immersed in UCM. When I found out about the TRV LLC, I thought it was perfect to be able to live with and around other students who came to UCM from a community college just like me. It was great to meet transfer students from all over California and even from outside the state, sharing our undergraduate experience not only as LLC residents but as bobcats. Being part of the TRV LLC, I attended social, professional, and academic events with my fellow transfer peers. I gained friends and memories that has added to the awesome journey I have had here at UCM. These experiences helped build a sense of community for me as a member of this LLC and helped my transition from living at home and going to a community college onto a university campus. I am grateful to have been a part of the TRV LLC and I am excited to be a part of it again this year!
